Poland's Supreme Administrative Court (NSA) has issued an important ruling that Facebook and Messenger login data constitute personal data, following a case where an employee's login was used post-employment, revealing confidential conversations.

Pracownik po odejściu z pracy zostawił dane logowania do Facebooka, pozwalające też na wgląd w korespondencję na Messengerze. Tym sposobem ujawniono poufne rozmowy m.in. o jego przełożonym z innymi pracownikami. Sprawą zajął się Naczelny Sąd Administracyjny.
