Polish Sejm Approves Upfront Fees for Financial Supervision Applications

The Polish Sejm has passed a law requiring entities supervised by the Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) to pay fees upfront when submitting applications for permits, consents, and registration. Previously, payments were made after the process concluded.

Podmioty nadzorowane przez Komisję Nadzoru Finansowego będą z góry uiszczać opłaty przy składaniu wniosków w zakresie zezwoleń, zgód oraz wpisu do rejestru - wynika z ustawy uchwalonej w piątek przez Sejm. Obecnie płatność następuje dopiero po zakończeniu postępowania
