Polish Prosecutor's Office to Revisit Dismissed Death Investigations at Southern Hospital

The Polish prosecutor's office has investigated 12 cases of deaths at the Southern Hospital since 2023 and plans to revisit those that were previously dismissed or where proceedings were refused.

Od 2023 roku w prokuraturze zarejestrowano 12 spraw dotyczących zgonów w Szpitalu Południowym - poinformował Waldemar Żurek, minister sprawiedliwości i prokurator generalny. Większość zostało umorzonych lub odmówiono wszczęcia postępowania. W środę odbędzie się przesłuchanie Emila Jędrzejewskiego, byłego ordynatora chirurgii, który nagłośnił nieprawidłowości w placówce.
