Polish Prosecutor Closes Arson Investigation

The prosecutor's office in Poland has closed an investigation into a 74-year-old man who allegedly attempted to kill his daughter and 11-year-old grandson by setting their home on fire in Jaworze near Kielce.

Prokuratura umorzyła śledztwo w sprawie podpalenia domu jednorodzinnego w miejscowości Jaworze pod Kielcami. Według śledczych 74-latek, który rozlał i podpalił benzynę w domu, chciał zabić swoją córkę i 11-letniego wnuka. Na szczęście jego plan się nie powiódł - sam zmarł jednak w szpitalu z powodu oparzeń.
