Polish Justice Minister Fined for 'Hate Scandal'

The President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO) has imposed a 100,000 PLN fine on the Polish Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro. The fine follows an investigation into the 'hate scandal' concerning the unlawful processing of data.

Prezes UODO nałożył 100 tys. kary na Ministra Sprawiedliwości po postępowaniu ws. tzw. afery hejterskiej. Chodzi o to, że ówczesny minister Zbigniew Ziobro m.in. nie wdrożył odpowiednich środków, by uniemożliwić bezprawne przetwarzanie uzyskanych z MS danych osobowych sędziów.
