Po tym jak rząd powoli wycofuje się z pakietu osłonowego Ceny Paliwa Niżej, jednocześnie koalicja rządowa przyspiesza prace nad tzw. podatkiem od nadmiarowych zysków w efekcie wojny na Bliskim Wschodzie. Na ostatniej prostej rząd zmniejszył skale podatku co i tak jednak nie zadawala spółki paliwowe.
