Polish Government Considers Ending 'Lower Fuel Prices' Program

The Polish Ministry of Finance announced that changes in the Middle East and a related drop in fuel prices may allow for a gradual reduction of the "Lower Fuel Prices" program. The VAT reduction is set to expire on June 30.

Zmiana sytuacji na Bliskim Wschodzie i związana z nią obniżka na rynkach paliw ma umożliwić stopniowe ograniczanie programu "Ceny Paliwa Niżej" - przekazało Ministerstwo Finansów. Resort wskazał, że choć obniżka VAT będzie obowiązywać do 30 czerwca, obniżka akcyzy wygasa już we wtorek, 16 czerwca.
