Polish Consumer Watchdog Accuses Receptomat Operator of Misleading Patients

The President of Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has filed charges against the operator of Receptomat.pl, l4.pl, and the Receptomat app. The operator is accused of misleading consumers regarding online medical consultations, with patients reporting lack of doctor contact and unreturned fees.

Prezes UOKiK postawił operatorowi serwisów Receptomat.pl i l4.pl oraz aplikacji Receptomat zarzuty wprowadzania konsumentów w błąd w sprawie konsultacji lekarskich online. Pacjenci skarżyli się na brak kontaktu z lekarzem, brak zwrotu opłat po odmowie wystawienia recepty czy konsultacji oraz ograniczoną komunikację.
