Poland’s Sejm Appoints Maciej Berek to Constitutional Court and Overrides Vetoes
The Polish parliament voted to appoint Maciej Berek, a close ally of the prime minister, as a new judge on the Constitutional Tribunal. In separate proceedings, lawmakers also successfully overturned presidential vetoes related to cryptocurrency regulation.
