Pigeon Hunting Banned in Azores Due to Newcastle Disease Outbreak

The hunting of rock pigeons has been prohibited indefinitely in the Azores starting Friday due to a low-risk but present outbreak of Newcastle disease, according to the regional Secretary of Agriculture.
