Philippines power grids under red, yellow alerts; energy conservation urged

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has placed the Luzon and Visayas grids under red and yellow alerts. Energy Secretary Sharon Garin appealed to consumers to reduce power consumption during peak hours.
