Permanent Protection Measures Implemented for Hoiho Penguins in Otago Peninsula
Permanent protection measures have been enacted for hoiho (yellow-eyed penguins) around New Zealand's Otago Peninsula. The new regulations include a ban on certain activities and an accidental capture limit of four northern hoiho per year.
