Pasifika Unemployment Rate Remains Double National Average in New Zealand

Statistics NZ reported that the unemployment rate for Pacific peoples in New Zealand stood at 11.6 percent in the June 2026 quarter, approximately twice the national rate, affecting around 23,700 Pacific workers.
