Pakistani Political Party Announces Protests Over Petrol Price Hike

A Pakistani political party, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), has announced sit-ins on August 16 outside governor houses and the CM House in Lahore to protest rising petrol prices. The party warned that disruptions could escalate the campaign into a movement to oust the government.
