Pakistan Raises Petrol and Diesel Prices Amid Fuel Cost Revisions

Govt increases petrol price by Rs2.29, high-speed diesel by Rs1.11

The government on Wednesday raised the price of petrol by Rs2.29 per litre and that of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.11 per litre. Following the revision, petrol will retail at Rs346.16 per litre while HSD will cost Rs372.03 per litre. The government continues to levy Rs114 per litre in taxes and duties on petrol and Rs100 per litre on diesel.
