Two days after Norway King Harald's funeral, his sister princess Astrid passes away

Princess Astrid of Norway has sadly passed away at the age of ninety-four. Just two days before her death, she graced her brother King Harald V's state funeral, attended by many who honored the late monarch. King Harald V's passing marked a significant moment in Norwegian history, concluding the period of national mourning. This event was also Astrid's final farewell in a public capacity.

Norway’s Princess Astrid dies aged 94 days after King Harald’s funeral

Norway’s Princess Astrid has died aged 94, two days after attending the funeral of her younger brother King Harald V, the Norwegian Royal House said on Friday. Her death came exactly two weeks after Harald died at Rikshospitalet in Oslo on 28 August. Princess Astrid, King Harald’s elder sister and a member of the Norwegian royal family for more than nine decades, died on 11 September.
