NIA Detains Congress Nominee and Others Over Malda Unrest in West Bengal
India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) has detained Congress candidate Sayem Choudhury and gram panchayat member Golam Rabbani for questioning. The detentions are linked to the April 1 violence in Mothabari, West Bengal, where seven judicial officers were confined for eight hours.
