New Mayors Elected in Waterford and North Cork Councils

A long-serving Fine Gael councillor has been elected as the new Mayor of Waterford City and County Council, while a North Cork councillor has also been elected as the new county mayor. These elections mark changes in leadership for both Irish councils.
