New EU Legislation Requires E-shops to Offer Online Contract Withdrawal

Starting June 19, e-commerce platforms must implement an online function for consumers to directly withdraw from contracts, rather than only providing a downloadable form. Many online retailers are reportedly unaware of this new legislative requirement.

Od 19. júna už e-shopom nebude stačiť, ak spotrebiteľovi ponúknu iba formulár na stiahnutie. Nová legislatíva im ukladá povinnosť zaviesť online funkciu, cez ktorú bude možné odstúpenie od zmluvy priamo vyplniť, potvrdiť a odoslať.
