New Austrian Traffic Law Classifies E-Scooters as Vehicles, Requires Turn Signals

A new traffic law (StVO-Novelle) in Austria, effective May 1st, will classify e-scooters as vehicles, requiring them to have turn signals, and mandating helmets for riders under 16 years old (under 14 for e-bikes).
