Nepal Declares Climate Change a National Security Threat After Deadly Floods
Following catastrophic flooding, Nepal’s parliament has officially classified climate change as a direct threat to national security. Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli attributed the disaster to global greenhouse gas emissions and urged international cooperation to address the crisis.
