Neighbors Demand Quieter Carillon, Calling it "The Noise Tower"
Residents living near a carillon, which they refer to as "Bråketårnet" (The Noise Tower), are demanding that the hourly bell chimes be softened. They acknowledge the bells have been there since 1971 but find the metallic sound unbearable on their balconies.
