Nearly 20% of Russian Airline Fleets Grounded This Summer, Double Normal Rate
One in five aircraft operated by Russia’s 11 largest airlines is grounded this summer, according to calculations by the Russian business daily Kommersant. This figure, representing 130 out of 673 aircraft, is double the normal rate and impacts over 90% of the country’s passenger traffic.
