Nearly 100 Avalanches Recorded in Iceland Since Thursday

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has recorded a total of 89 avalanches between Thursday, March 12, and yesterday, with several snowslides temporarily closing roads.

Veðurstofa Íslands skráði alls 89 flóð sem féllu frá fimmtudeginum 12. mars þar til í gær. Á nokkrum stöðum féllu snjóflóð á vegi og lokuðu fyrir umferð tímabundið.
