National LGBTQ monument unveiled in Ottawa

A national monument dedicated to marking injustice against the LGBTQ community has been unveiled in Ottawa, Canada. The project was funded through a class-action lawsuit settlement involving 719 individuals who were purged from their positions by the Canadian government due to their sexual orientation or gender identity.
