National Gallery Prague Union Demands Explanation from Culture Minister

The trade union organization of the National Gallery Prague (NGP) sent an open letter to Culture Minister Oto Klempíř, demanding an explanation for his actions regarding the gallery. The union specifically called on the minister to answer questions about the decision-making process for selecting a new director.

Odborová organizace Národní galerie Praha (NGP) zaslala ministru kultury Otu Klempířovi otevřený dopis, ve kterém žádá vysvětlení jeho kroků vůči galerii. Odboráři ministra vyzvali zejména k zodpovězení otázek o způsobu rozhodování kolem výběru nového vedení instituce. Klempíř letos v březnu odvolal ředitelku Alicji Knastovou, výběrové řízení na jejího nástupce v červnu zrušil a chce ho opakovat.
