Mumbai shocker: Cop dies after 200-tonne crane at flyover worksite topples on his motorbike

A 48-year-old constable, Santosh Chavan, was tragically killed when a 200-tonne excavator drilling crane toppled onto his motorcycle at an underconstruction flyover site in Mankhurd. The incident occurred Tuesday night, causing significant traffic disruption. Police have registered an FIR against the private contractor and associated personnel for alleged negligence.
