Montenegro's Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) refuted claims that school directors are chosen based on national or political affiliation, asserting that selections are made based on knowledge, competence, experience, and legal procedures.

"Direktori škola u Crnoj Gori ne biraju se po nacionalnoj, političkoj ili bilo kojoj drugoj pripadnosti. Biraju se na osnovu znanja, kompetencija, iskustva i rezultata ostvarenih u zakonom propisanoj proceduri o čemu će najbolje posvjedočiti i sami kandidati", piše u saopštenju Ministarstva prosvjete, nauke i inovacija (MPNI)
