Montenegrin Opposition Calls for Renewed 'August 30' Movement Against Corruption

The Democratic Party of Socialists' ally URA is urging citizens to revive the 'August 30' civic movement, citing the need to consolidate gains made during the 2020 political shift and continue fighting organized crime and institutional corruption.

"Promjena je bila potrebna i donijela je rezultate. Država je pokazala da može odlučnije da se suprotstavi organizovanom kriminalu i korupciji, da nema nedodirljivih i da politička promjena može da otvori institucije koje su decenijama bile zarobljene partijskim interesima. Na te rezultate treba da budemo ponosni i njih danas treba braniti", istakli su iz URA
