Moldova to Declare 1946-47 Famine a Crime Against Humanity
Moldova's Parliament in Chișinău plans to declare the 1946-1947 famine, which killed between 115,000 and 200,000 people, a crime against humanity. The famine is attributed to the irresponsible policies of the Soviet occupation regime.
