Še eno švicarsko vasico bi lahko pokopal plaz. Tokrat je na udaru Kandersteg v kantonu Bern. Nad vasjo je vse bolj nestabilna ogromna skala, ki bi se lahko ob nadaljnjem taljenju ledu odkrušila in zgrmela v dolino. Po nekaterih ocenah bi v dolino lahko zdrsnilo približno 15–20 milijonov kubičnih metrov materiala.
