Metro Rail seeks CCRS approval to relax curbs on Poonamallee-Vadapalani stretch

A CMRL official states that train frequency between Poonamallee and Porur could be reduced from 15 minutes to 10 minutes, pending approval from the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety. CMRL has also requested permission to operate trains at a speed of 40 kmph between Porur and Vadapalani.
