Meta to Notify Parents of Teen Suicide Discussions with AI Chatbot

Meta will now tell parents if their teens talk about suicide with the company's AI chatbot

Starting today, Canadian parents who have set up Instagram's supervision feature for their teen will be notified if their child shows signs that they're in crisis. Kids, advocates and tech experts all say the feature is a step in the right direction, but that more work is needed to keep kids safe online.
