Memorial Garden Unveiled for Victims of Latvia's Zolitūde Tragedy

Thirteen years after the Maxima shopping center collapse killed 54 people, survivors and relatives gathered to open a dedicated memorial garden honoring the victims.

Novembrī apritēs 13 gadi kopš, sagrūstot lielveikalam "Maxima", Zolitūdē bojā gāja 54 cilvēki un vēl daudzi desmiti cilvēku tika smagi ievainoti. Pirmdien, 31. augustā, cietušie un bojāgājušo tuvinieki sagaidījuši Zolitūdes traģēdijā bojāgājušo Atceres dārza atklāšanu. Tā ideja radīta sadarbībā ar biedrību "Zolitūde 21.11".
