Man Convicted of Shooting Meditating Man to be Sentenced

Maurice Mahon, an 81-year-old man from Wicklow, was convicted in March of reckless discharge of a firearm and assaulting Innokenti Belaga, causing him harm, in August 2022. He is scheduled to be sentenced for the assault next July.

Huntsman who shot man meditating in his garden to be sentenced for assault next July

Wicklow man Maurice Mahon (81) was convicted last March of reckless discharge of a firearm at Kilmashogue Lane in Rathfarnham on 28 August, 2022. He was also convicted of assaulting Innokenti Belaga causing him harm on the same occasion.
