Mallakastër / Accidentally falls into a chasm, rescued after more than 8 hours

An event that fortunately ended without loss of life occurred in the village of Kapaj, Mallakastër, where a 48-year-old man accidentally fell into a deep chasm and remained trapped for more than 8 hours. The rescue operation was complex due to the difficult terrain and the depth of the chasm. Emergency services worked tirelessly to bring the man to safety. He was transported to the regional hospital for medical evaluation.
