Makro Announces Return to the Philippines After Two Decades

European wholesale retailer Makro is set to re-enter the Philippine market after nearly 20 years, with plans for four new locations within Ayala estates. The company's previous stores were acquired by SM and converted into SM Hypermarkets in 2009.
