Major cigarette smuggling operation case goes to court in Latvia

A case has been referred to court concerning a member of an international organised group who is accused of smuggling 10 million cigarettes from Belarus. The cigarette smuggling caused losses of 1.5 million euros to the state, the Public Prosecutor’s Office reported.
