Lombok-Bali Crossing Set to Close During Nyepi Day
The Lombok-Bali crossing is scheduled to close during Nyepi Day, the Day of Silence. The closure is a customary practice to respect the observance of Nyepi, a major Hindu holiday in Bali. During this period, all activities on the island, including transportation and public services, come to a halt. The ferry service between Lombok and Bali will therefore be suspended to ensure the sanctity of the day. Commuters and travelers are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience.
