Lithuanian President Calls for Real Defense Industry Cooperation with Ukraine

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, speaking from Cyprus, emphasized Lithuania's goal to transition from merely declarative cooperation to concrete actions in strengthening defense industry cooperation with Ukraine. He stated that Lithuania is ready to invest in Ukrainian defense companies and to jointly develop new defense products. Nausėda also highlighted the importance of joint procurement and production, stressing that this would not only bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities but also create new opportunities for Lithuanian businesses. The President's remarks came during a press conference following his meeting with the President of Cyprus.
