Glas "h" je stotinama godina bio nestabilan na našem jezičkom području, a jedan od glavnih razloga jeste njegova fonetska nestabilnost, ali i različit razvoj dijalekata. S druge strane, postoji i proces hiperkorekcije - umetanje glasa "h" tamo gdje etimološki ne pripada.
