Latvian Teachers Experience High Stress Levels, Many Consider Job Change

A monitoring report in Latvia reveals that nearly 95% of teachers experience increased stress daily, with a third facing high professional risk and only 8% able to stick to their lesson plans.

Gandrīz visi vai 95 procenti pedagogu savā darba ikdienā izjūt paaugstinātu stresu. Trešdaļa pedagogu saskaras pat ar augstu vai ļoti augstu profesionālo risku. Tikai astoņiem procentiem skolotāju izdodas pieturēties pie iepriekš izstrādātā stundas plāna. Šādus datus, tuvojoties jaunajam mācību gadam, publiskojusi Izglītības atbalsta biedrība "TeachInspire", kas iepriekšējā mācību gadā veikusi skolotāju stresa monitoringu un nesen pabeigusi rezultātu apkopošanu.
