The storm over the weekend also damaged the infrastructure of the Ministry of the Interior’s services, including the border guard. The State Border Guard reports that falling trees have damaged the fence erected along the country’s eastern border, and several buildings and facilities have also been affected, Latvian Radio reported on August 25.
