Latvia Plans to Complete Eastern Border Fortification Next Year

Latvia's Ministry of Interior reported to the Cabinet of Ministers on the progress of infrastructure construction along the country's eastern border, noting that approximately 220,000 euros are still needed for property expropriation, but the border fence and most infrastructure are already built.

Nākamgad plāno pabeigt austrumu robežas stiprināšanu

Iekšlietu ministrija (IeM) otrdien Ministru kabinetam atskaitījās par infrastruktūras izbūvi uz valsts austrumu robežas. Īpašumu atsavināšanai nepieciešami vēl aptuveni 220 000 eiro, bet robežas žogs un infrastruktūras lielākā daļa ir izbūvēti. Darbus plānots pabeigt līdz šī gada beigām, bet pie atsevišķiem darbu posmiem "Valsts nekustamie īpašumi" (VNĪ) plāno strādāt līdz nākamā gada beigām.
