209 La Union farmers, fisherfolk receive aid after Typhoon Uwan

San Fernando City — A total of 209 farmers and fisherfolk in La Union received financial assistance from the provincial government on Monday to help them recover from calamities and rebuild their livelihoods. La Union Gov. Mario Eduardo Ortega distributed P8,000 in assistance to each beneficiary during a program held at the Ortega Convention Center.
