Japan's Nuclear Regulator Approves Extension for Anti-Terrorism Facility Deadlines
Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority has approved a draft rule amendment to effectively extend the deadline for power companies to install anti-terrorism facilities at nuclear power plants. This decision will allow plants like Tohoku Electric Power's Onagawa Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2, which was facing a shutdown, to continue operations.
