Japan's LDP approves draft bill to punish national flag vandalism
Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has approved a draft bill proposing penalties of up to two years in prison or fines of as much as ¥200,000 for acts of vandalism causing 'extreme discomfort or disgust' to the national flag.
