Japan's Criminal Procedure Law Amendment for Retrial System Passes Lower House
An amendment to Japan's Criminal Procedure Law, aimed at revising the retrial system, has passed the House of Representatives with support from the Liberal Democratic Party, Nippon Ishin no Kai, and Sanseitō, and is expected to be enacted in the current Diet session.
