Japanese "Hell Ship" Carrying WWII POWs Discovered After 80 Years
A Japanese ship, sunk in 1944 while carrying approximately 1,200 British and Dutch prisoners of war, has been discovered on the seabed after 80 years. US military planes mistakenly attacked the unmarked vessel in the South China Sea.
