Iwate forest fire not officially extinguished one month later

One month after a large forest fire broke out in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, the blaze has not yet been officially declared extinguished. Although the fire was mostly put out earlier this month and no new heat sources have been detected for a week, investigations are ongoing.
